Our Boot Camp/Fun Day celebrations are less than a month away: August 12th to the 14th. We are still looking for donations to help put us over the top to feed at least 500 families on the Reservation.
For the last 17 years, we have been making our journey to the Fort Peck Reservation and we have completed lots of projects. These have included refurbishing a movie theater for the kids, installing an outdoor basketball court, building a skating rink, building a Geodescent solar-powered greenhouse, and donating musical instruments, back packs, and sporting goods.
This year the focus is on feeding at least 500 families on the Reservation.
The effects of the pandemic with the social and emotional tolls of being locked down have been magnified on the Reservation. That’s why we are so excited to be bringing hope and joy to the kids again this summer. They really do look forward to seeing us each year.
