Boot Camp, Fun Days, & Summer Camp all help the kids realize that life will get better!
Those who are not familiar with Love Has No Color, may feel like it is impossible that a group of people who do not live on the reservation would care so much, and do so much for people they are not related to or connected to in some way.
It may seem crazy, but we are all interconnected. We help the kids because they need assistance and it’s the right thing to do.
This year, we will be building an outdoor street hockey rink that will also transform in the winter into an ice hockey rink, and an indoor soccer arena.
We are delivering 1,000 backpacks stuffed with school supplies.
We are providing high quality, non-perishable food for 300-400 families in need.
We are doing yard work, and cleaning the homes of as many elders, veterans, widows as we can.
We are providing mattresses to families in need.
The kids look forward to this all year long.
The stress and sadness felt from the appalling and disturbing conditions seems to fade away during this celebration. They start to see life differently. They start to see new possibilities.
