Love Has No Color was started by Chiropractors who were appalled to learn of the 3rd world conditions children were experiencing right in this country. These Chiropractors are like Navy Seals (minus the killing) and they get things done. The next wave of people to get involved were the patients of these DCs. They were just as shocked and wanted to do something about it. Then they brought along their kids, friends, communities, and etc.
Once someone hears about LHNC, they almost always say: “How can I help?”
With the rising popularity of social media, our gift/toy donors, participants, and financial supporters are everywhere. There are private citizens, foundations, groups, and other people who care.
To help oppressed people, at the beginning, it takes a lot of time, effort, and money. During the early years of LHNC we silently wondered if we were doing any good or making a difference.
Refurbishing the movie theater took 7 years to complete but it was so worth it! Now the kids can enjoy a safe after school place to hangout. Not only do they watch movies, they also participate in indoor archery and are fed nutritious meals. The theater is also free from gangs and other toxic influences.
14 years later after helping thousands of kids, it has made and continues to make a HUGE difference in their lives. This stems from the Fort Peck Reservation and spreads to others.
