Love Has No Color volunteers will be in Wolf Point and Poplar on August 11th and 12th to host our Fun Days for the kids and families. There will be lots of activities from sand art to face painting, temporary tattoos, sports games, balloons, Chiropractic care, Naturopathic care, and more. There will also be plenty of food and drinks for everyone.
Love Has No Color has been coming to the Fort Peck Reservation for 18 years and has put on these fun carnivals for the kids. This is part of the promise we made to bring hope and joy to these kids and to help them realize a higher quality of life.
Restoring health, hope, and dignity has never been more important than now.
There is a good chance we will be at the Thundering BuffaloWellness Center for some of the festivities. This flagship facility was made possible by the tireless work of visionary Kenny Smoker, the HPDP, the Tribal Council, and hundreds of others.
There will be activities for everyone. The kids have a blast going from one activity to another. Many of the older teens and adults chip in to help clean up after the day is over. Elders love to mingle with the kids, too, and they love seeing something good for the kids happen on the Reservation.
This is a community-wide celebration to be shared by all. Please join us as we celebrate the kids.
